1. Accounts
Athlete profiles are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account and everything published on it. Athletes may receive a limited sign-in controlled by the parent. Coach and recruiter accounts are for actual coaching or recruiting staff; we verify them and may reject or revoke any coach account at our discretion. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Publishing an athlete page requires an active subscription. Plans are billed through Stripe monthly or yearly and renew automatically until canceled. The Base plan covers one athlete; the Family plan covers up to five, with additional athletes billed at the posted add-on price. You can change plans, update payment methods, or cancel anytime from Billing; cancellation stops future charges and pages remain live through the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails we keep pages live during a short grace period while Stripe retries, after which pages are hidden (never deleted) until payment resumes. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.
3. Your content
You own what you upload. You grant Players Look the license needed to host, process (for example, transcoding video), and display that content to operate the service. You confirm you have the right to everything you upload — including photos taken by others — and that testimonials you approve are genuine. We may remove content that violates these terms.
4. Acceptable use
No harassment, hate, or abusive language. No impersonation of coaches, schools, or other people. No false statistics or fabricated credentials. No attempting to obtain a minor's personal contact information or move conversations off-platform to do so. No scraping, bulk collection, or automated account creation. Messaging exists for legitimate recruiting conversations between verified coaches and families — anything else gets accounts closed.
5. Child safety
We build for the safety of minor athletes: parent-controlled accounts and consent, no public contact details, platform-relayed messaging with screening, coach verification, family-approved testimonials, and parent-controlled deletion. We may suspend any account or remove any content we believe puts a minor at risk, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities protecting children.
6. Recruiting information disclaimer
Players Look provides tools and information to support recruiting, including general information about NCAA and other governing-body rules. This is informational only — not legal or compliance advice. Rules change; athletes, families, and coaches are responsible for their own compliance with their governing bodies.
7. Service
We work to keep Players Look fast and available but provide it "as is," without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. We may modify features with notice for material changes.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how deletion works). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with refunds handled reasonably based on the circumstances.
